Please read your options for payment.  Wire transfers are the preferred method of payment.  Upon reviewing your choices e-mail us with the item(s) you desire to purchase and the country the parcel is being shipped to so we can determine the shipping and handling fees.   Substantial discounts are available for volume purchases.  We will then forward you the S&H fee. 

We use one of the following for parcels up to 20 pounds: EMS (Express Mail Service) which takes usually 6 to 7 days for delivery; Air Parcel Post Insured (delivery time varies upon country) and UPS International Express (delivery in 3 to 4 days.)  Parcels over 20 pounds are either shipped via air freight through our freight forwarder or via DHL.

UPS is more expensive in most situations since the weight is determined by either the actual weight or dimensional weight of parcel (L" x W" x H")/166, whichever is greater.  EMS rates are usually lower in cost and there is no dimensional weight, you pay for the actual weight only.

We do not normally ship with Federal Express, Airborne, or Emery Express but can arrange for delivery if you have an account with one of these companies.  The parcel must be shipped to the address on file with the shipping carrier.

For large orders we recommend you arrange the pickup of the goods with a freight forwarder.  Some forwarders we have done business with include: Interworld Express Services, Concordia International Forwarding Corp., Greenshields, Cowie & Co. Ltd, and Panalpina Inc.

Precision Weighing Balances offers sales to our international customers by the following methods:

American Express credit card.  We do not accept Mastercard or Visa since we are unable to verify cardholder information on credit card billed outside the USA.  For those customers wishing to use AMEX please verify your most recent AMEX statement prior to filling out our order form.  We use AVS (address verification system) which provides credit cardholder's information including the card holder's name, billing address, telephone number enabling us to deter possible credit card fraud.  The parcel MUST BE shipped to the EXACT same address the American Express credit card is billed to every month.  If the address that you submit does not match the address of where the credit card is billed to every month we would be unable to get authorization from American Express to ship the parcel.  Therefore, please double check where the statement is sent every month or call AMEX.

Prepaid for merchandise in U.S. funds.  Please submit only bank certified checks that are drawn on a United States bank with the funds in US dollars payable to "Precision Weighing Balances."  If your bank certified check is NOT drawn on a USA bank please add an additional $20.00 processing fee to your order.  Bank checks drawn for outside the USA require 3 to 4 weeks to clear.  Bank checks drawn on a US bank will be shipped immediately.  We also accept American Express International Money Orders and Western Union International Money Orders in US dollars payable to "Precision Weighing Balances."

Bank Wire Transfer.  Funds must be in US Dollars and transferred to Pentucket Bank.  Please print this page and forward it to your bank to assist them in the wire transfer.  Request your bank to reference the wire transfer with your last name to assist us in knowing who has transferred funds to our bank account.  If you need assistance with the transfer please call our bank.

There is an additional $15.00 fee that must be added to your total for all international wire transfers.  This is to cover the charges the transferring bank (the intermediary bank that performs the transfer between our bank and yours) that automatically withdraws $15 - $25 from the funds.  There is no additional fee for wire transfers within the USA.

Shipping charges are non-refundable for international orders.

The customer is responsible for any customs, duties or taxes levied on international sales.
